Global petroleum prices decline

The prices of petroleum derivatives in global markets decreased during the second week of this month compared to their prices in the first week of the same month, according to the weekly bulletin from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

According to the bulletin, the average price of 90-octane gasoline fell from USD 667 to USD 661 per ton, a decrease of 1 percent. The price of 95 octane gasoline decreased from USD 685 to USD 676 per ton, also by 1 percent.

Diesel prices dropped from USD 625 to USD 614 per ton, a decrease of 2 percent, while kerosene prices fell from USD 658 to USD 646 per ton, also by 2 percent. The price of fuel oil increased from USD 458 to USD 461 per ton, an increase of 1 percent.

The average price of liquefied petroleum gas this month decreased to USD 608, compared to its average price of USD 628 in February, a decrease of 3 percent.

The average price of Brent crude oil fell from USD 72 to USD 71 per barrel.
