Twenty-one Palestinian women, including child, detained in "Israeli" prisons
On Saturday, the Palestinian Prisoners' Club reported that "Israel" continues to detain 21 Palestinian women, including a 12-year-old girl, under harsh conditions and systematic abuses.
In a statement marking International Women's Day on March 8, the organization emphasized that "the Israeli Occupation has long used the detention of Palestinian women as a systematic policy, targeting even minors."

"Currently, 21 Palestinian women, including a 12-year-old child, remain in "Israeli" custody. They endure systematic abuse and harsh treatment in prisons and interrogation centers, with conditions worsening since the onset of the aggression," the statement added.
The organization further detailed that "female detainees face severe detention conditions, including torture, starvation, medical neglect, sexual abuse, frequent raids on their cells, systematic deprivation, and psychological torture that begins from the moment of their arrest."
Since the start of "Israel's" aggression on Gaza on October 7, 2023, human rights organizations have documented 490 cases of detained women, including minors.
The Palestinian Prisoners' Club noted that the detention of women and minors has been a particularly prominent and unprecedented tactic of the Israeli Occupation during the aggression.
The Palestinian Prisoners' Club continues to document and advocate against these violations, highlighting the urgent need for international intervention to protect Palestinian detainees, particularly women and minors.
