"Over 12,000 Palestinian women killed in Israeli prisons," says Hamas

On International Women's Day, Hamas condemned the Israeli Occupation's crimes against Palestinian women, calling them a "stain on humanity."

The movement highlighted the ongoing violations faced by Palestinian women in Gaza, including bombings, massacres, displacement, arrests, and torture in 'Israeli' prisons. According to Hamas, over 12,000 Palestinian women have been martyred, with thousands more injured or imprisoned.

Hamas also criticized the international community, particularly those who claim to defend women's rights yet turn a blind eye to these atrocities. The group pointed out the severe abuse of Palestinian female political prisoners, calling attention to the hypocrisy of the US and some Western nations in their handling of Palestinian detainee issues.

In honor of Palestinian women, Hamas expressed deep appreciation for their resilience in the struggle for national liberation and their essential role in resisting 'Israeli' plans to displace Palestinians and erase their cause. The movement especially praised the women of Gaza for their extraordinary resistance as they stood by fighters, supporting and caring for them.

Hamas urged the international community to take meaningful action to protect Palestinian women and hold 'Israeli' leaders accountable for their crimes.
