Saudi reaffirms backing for Syria's new leadership amid unrest
On Friday, Saudi Arabia issued a strong condemnation of the "crimes" committed by "outlaw groups" following violent clashes with security forces in Syria.
The country expressed its unwavering support for the new authorities that have taken over after the ousting of long-time ruler Bashar Al-Assad.
In a statement posted on its official X account, the Saudi Foreign Ministry highlighted the Kingdom's disapproval of the actions perpetrated by these groups and their attacks on security personnel.
