The first phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza officially ends today, March 1, amid growing uncertainty over the next steps in the negotiations.

"Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced plans for exceptional consultations in light of the developments. Sources indicated that the current round of negotiations in Cairo has not been productive, with one describing it as "not going well."
Meanwhile, US news outlet reported that the "Israeli" delegation is set to return to Cairo later on Saturday to continue talks.
In response, Hamas has reiterated its demand for mediators, guarantors, and the international community to press "Israel" into fully complying with the ceasefire agreement and to begin the second phase without delay or evasion.
