Members of Parliament welcome Ahmad Al-Sharaa’s visit

Several members of the House of Representatives welcomed, during the legislative session held on Wednesday, the visit of Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa to Jordan and his meeting with His Majesty the King.

His Majesty King Abdullah II is set to meet with Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa today, Wednesday, during an official visit by Sharaa to Jordan—his first since assuming the presidency of Syria following the fall of Bashar Al-Assad’s regime.

The visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries amid rapidly evolving regional developments.

This visit is part of ongoing efforts to enhance communication between Amman and Damascus, with the King reaffirming Jordan’s support for Syria’s unity, sovereignty, and stability.

With Sharaa’s visit, the meeting is expected to focus on shared concerns, the impact of the situation in Syria on regional stability, and boosting economic cooperation between the two countries.
