Key update on school, government schedules on Wednesday

Official working hours in public and private schools, as well as government institutions in Jordan, will return to their normal schedule starting Wednesday, February 26, 2025, after a three-day delay due to recent weather conditions.

The Ministry of Education had postponed the start of the school day to 10 AM on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, while the government adjusted the working hours of ministries and public departments to begin at 10 AM and end at 4 AM during the same period.

The Ministry clarified that school schedules will return to normal on Wednesday, with the first class starting at its officially designated time for each school. It also urged parents to stay updated on any changes to ensure a smooth educational process.

These temporary adjustments affected both students and employees in the public and private sectors, as they were precautionary measures to cope with the severe weather conditions experienced over the past three days.
