Lebanon bids farewell to Hezbollah’s Hassan Nasrallah in mass ceremony
Lebanon will bid farewell to Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah and Secretary-General Hashem Safieddine in a grand ceremony set to take place in Beirut’s southern suburbs on Sunday afternoon.
Hezbollah’s media announced that a vial containing soil from Palestine will be buried alongside Nasrallah’s body at his final resting place near the old airport road in Beirut.
According to the statement, the vial holds soil from Al-Aqsa Mosque, which was specifically brought to be interred with the soil covering Nasrallah’s remains.

Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem said the group would keep following the path of slain chief Hassan Nasrallah on Sunday during a televised speech broadcast at his massive funeral on the outskirts of Beirut.
"We will uphold trust and walk on this path, we will uphold your will," Qassem said referring to Nasrallah, adding: "you are still with us: your... path and struggle live within us" and "I am loyal to the legacy Nasrallah".
“The resistance is not over” and Hezbollah is still capable, Qassem said, adding that they refuse for “tyrant America to control”.

"Israeli" Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that aircraft flying over Hassan Nasrallah's funeral were sending a message: "Those who threaten to destroy us write their own end."
The ceremony took place Sunday in Beirut's southern suburbs, where Nasrallah's body was laid to rest with soil from Palestine.

Lebanese state media reported “Israeli” planes flying at low altitude over Beirut, with crowds hearing the rumbling noise while tens of thousands attended Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah's funeral near the capital.
"The hostile warplanes flew at low altitude over the skies of Beirut and its suburbs," the National News Agency said.
