Hezbollah’s Secretary-General, Naim Qassem, condemned US President Donald Trump’s stance on Palestine, calling it political genocide, especially after "Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s failure to achieve physical genocide against Palestinians.

Qassem warned that US policies pose a serious threat to Arab and Islamic nations, blaming both Arab and international silence for enabling Washington’s approach to the Palestinian cause.

Reaffirming Hezbollah’s firm opposition to the forced displacement of Palestinians, Qassem stressed that they will not abandon their land.

He called for all possible means of support to bolster their resilience and affirmed Hezbollah’s willingness to participate in any Arab initiative to prevent their displacement.

Addressing "Israeli" policies, Qassem stated that Tel Aviv remains committed to expansionist ambitions. He also expressed Hezbollah’s satisfaction with Lebanon’s government progress, highlighting the party’s role in fostering national unity and supporting state institutions. He further underscored the role of the Shiite alliance in facilitating Lebanon’s presidential election.

Regarding "Israeli" forces in Lebanon, Qassem insisted that any remaining "Israeli" troops after the agreed withdrawal date would be considered an occupying force, with clear repercussions.

He urged the Lebanese government to take a firm stance to ensure "Israel’s" full withdrawal by February 18 and to take responsibility for rebuilding areas damaged by "Israeli" airstrikes.
