"Israeli" forces plan full withdrawal from Lebanon, triple post-war deployment

"Israel" Hayom reported today that the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) are preparing for a complete withdrawal from Lebanon within the next two days.

The report noted that, despite speculation in Arab media about "Israel’s" requests to retain control over five specific points near the border, military sources insist that no official instructions have been received from the political leadership regarding this matter.

According to these sources, the IOF is preparing for a scenario where, after the withdrawal, Hezbollah convoys, accompanied by flags, will conduct parades in Lebanese villages to celebrate their return.

"Israel" Hayom further stated that the current security situation allows for a full withdrawal from all points. However, maintaining control over these positions would allow "Israel" to exert military influence, preventing Hezbollah from occupying key areas that overlook deep into "Israeli" territory and closely monitoring border settlements.

It also added that, since no orders have been received to exclude certain areas, the IOF is preparing for a complete withdrawal. However, the forces will be deployed at three times the number present before the war.
