Safadi, Turkish counterpart discuss ties, Gaza ceasefire

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi held extensive talks with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference (MSC) 2025.

Their discussions centered on strengthening bilateral relations across various sectors to enhance mutual cooperation.

Both ministers underscored the urgent need to maintain the ceasefire in Gaza and facilitate the swift delivery of humanitarian aid to the strip, given the worsening humanitarian crisis.

Safadi and Fidan also addressed developments in Syria, highlighting the importance of continued coordination between their countries to tackle regional challenges and promote stability.
