VIDEO: Man attacked after burning Quran outside Turkish Embassy in London

A man attempted to burn a Quran outside the Turkish Embassy in London on Thursday, leading to a violent confrontation with another individual.

Social media footage showed the man holding the burning holy book near the embassy, sparking tension among bystanders. In a subsequent video, the man was seen lying on the ground, repeatedly kicked by another individual. This second man appeared to pull out a knife and attack the man while he was on the ground.

The victim had an injured finger but did not have stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. The attacker was quickly arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon and grievous bodily harm.

Metropolitan Police responded to the scene and confirmed they were investigating the incident. Authorities are continuing to gather information on the events surrounding the altercation, with the man attempting to burn the Quran reportedly of Turkish origin.
