Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, emphasized the urgent need to engage in the second phase of negotiations regarding the Gaza crisis, as outlined in the preliminary agreement.

Al Thani expressed optimism about reaching quick, positive results that could help end the war in the region. He stressed the importance of international efforts to increase the flow of humanitarian aid into Gaza.

Regarding the negotiations, Al Thani confirmed that “Phase two should begin tomorrow,” noting that Qatar has already begun engaging with all concerned parties to accelerate the process.

He also highlighted the need for real involvement from both sides in the talks, stressing that "goodwill" from both parties is key to making progress.

Meanwhile, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan reiterated his country's firm stance against any plans to displace Palestinians from Gaza, stating that "forced relocation contradicts international law and must be opposed by all."

Fidan also called for global opposition to this project, stating, “Displacing Palestinians from their land is unacceptable, and efforts must be made to stop it.”

He also addressed Turkey’s relations with the United States, hoping that “our American friends will abandon policies that threaten Turkey’s security,” indicating that current US policies could destabilize the region.

In closing, the Qatari Prime Minister called on Qatar’s international partners to exert pressure to ensure the success of the Gaza negotiations, wishing there would be no obstacles to the peace process.

International efforts to find a peaceful resolution for the situation in Gaza continue, with hopes of reaching agreements that would end the ongoing aggression and alleviate the suffering of civilians in the region.
