PM issues travel directive for ministers, officials

11/2/2025 20:47|Prime Minister Jafar Hassan issued a directive on Tuesday, prohibiting ministers, heads of official bodies and institutions, and directors of government departments from traveling abroad except for essential meetings related to their ministry’s work.
Hassan emphasized that only one official (the minister, head of the institution, department director, or their representative) may travel, without any accompanying staff, and that the official stay should not exceed two nights for official business.

The directive stressed the importance of adherence and stated that it would take effect immediately.
