The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) forecasts continued cold weather in the coming days, with chances of rain in several areas and warnings about frost and fog formation in some regions.

Monday

Today, Monday, the weather will be cold and partly to mostly cloudy, with scattered rain showers expected in northern and central Jordan, as well as parts of the eastern and southwestern regions.

Light snow may mix with the rain over high-altitude areas in the early morning hours, though without significant impact.

Winds will be moderate westerlies, occasionally picking up. Rain chances decrease by evening, while nighttime temperatures will drop significantly, especially in high-altitude areas.

Tuesday

Temperatures will rise slightly on Tuesday, but the weather will remain cold in most areas and relatively cool in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, with scattered clouds at different altitudes.

Winds will be moderate northwesterlies. At night, temperatures will drop sharply, with frost expected in the high southern mountains.

Wednesday

Temperatures will slightly drop again on Wednesday, with cold conditions persisting and increasing cloud cover at various altitudes.

By midday, Jordan will be affected by an unstable weather system, bringing more clouds and scattered rain showers in the north, center, and parts of the east. Some showers may be accompanied by thunderstorms and occasional hail.

Winds will be moderate westerlies, occasionally strengthening.

Thursday

A slight further drop in temperatures is expected on Thursday, with continued cold and partly cloudy conditions. Light rain showers may persist in the morning in northern and central regions.

Winds will be moderate to active westerlies, with strong gusts causing dust storms in eastern areas.
