Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ahmed Al-Safadi, and the Saudi Ambassador to Jordan, Naif Bin Bandar Al-Sudairi, reaffirmed the deep ties between the two Kingdoms under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, as well as the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.

During a meeting with Sudairi on the occasion of the completion of his tenure as ambassador to Jordan, Safadi expressed the solidarity of the House of Representatives with Saudi Arabia and rejected any actions or statements that target the Kingdom, emphasizing that "the security of Jordan and Saudi Arabia is indivisible." He also extended his gratitude to Saudi Arabia for its firm stance against proposals to displace Gazans to Jordan and Egypt.

The Speaker of the House also rejected statements made by the Israeli Occupation’s Prime Minister regarding Saudi Arabia, calling them a violation of international law that should be condemned by Arab and international parliaments, urging them to take a clear stance against such remarks.

For his part, the Saudi ambassador reaffirmed his country’s support for Jordan and its opposition to calls for the forced displacement of Palestinians. He stressed the importance of uniting efforts to defend Palestinian rights and the establishment of a fully sovereign independent state.

At the end of the meeting, Safadi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Saudi ambassador for his dedicated efforts in strengthening and enhancing relations between the two countries throughout his tenure.

Meanwhile, Sudairi conveyed his deep appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah II, all Jordanian officials, and the people of Jordan for the warm hospitality and respect he experienced during his time as ambassador.
