Rocket alarm sirens activated in Gaza envelope

The “Israeli” Home Front Command reported that rocket alarm sirens were activated in the Gaza Strip settlement of Nirim.

The “Israeli” military later said that they were false alarms, adding that several interceptor missiles were launched at a target, which was then confirmed to have been a “false identification”.

Earlier, The “Israeli” military said its fighter jets carried out an intelligence-based strike on a weapons storage facility belonging to Hamas in southern Syria.

The alleged facility, located in the area of Deir Ali, in the Rif Dimashq (Damascus) governorate, was intended to be used in attack on “Israeli” troops – as claimed in the statement.
