The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said in a statement that 18 people who were stranded on the side of the road due to the thick dust were evacuated, in addition to 47 others from the area east of Al-Husayniya.

All individuals were safely transported to secure locations. Three people experiencing difficulty breathing were transferred to the hospital for treatment and are in stable condition.

The authorities urged citizens to exercise caution, follow instructions from relevant authorities, especially in areas experiencing heavy dust, and take necessary precautions. People in need of assistance are encouraged to call emergency number 911.

Additionally, earlier today, a number of PSD personnel were evacuated after being trapped by the dense dust in the Al-Jafr area while performing their duties. Their condition is reported to be stable – the statement said.
