Gold prices in Jordan hold at record high on Thursday
Gold prices in Jordan remained stable at a record high on Thursday, rising by JD 1 compared to Wednesday, according to the pricing issued by the General Syndicate of Owners of Goldsmiths and Jewelry Shops.
The price of 21-karat gold, the most in-demand among citizens, stood at JD 57.8 per gram for selling and JD 55.8 for buying.
Meanwhile, 24-karat gold was priced at JD 66.2 per gram for selling and JD 64 for buying.
As for 18-karat gold, the selling price reached JD 51 per gram, while the buying price stood at JD 47.5.
Regarding gold coins in the local market, the English gold lira was priced at JD 464.4 for selling and JD 446.4 for buying, excluding craftsmanship fees. The Rashadi gold lira was priced at JD 404.6 for selling and JD 390.6 for buying, also excluding craftsmanship fees.
