As part of ongoing royal directives to sustain Jordan’s humanitarian air bridge to Gaza, 14 new helicopters took off Tuesday from King Abdullah II Air Base – a statement by the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) said Tuesday.

The aircraft carried 15 tons of humanitarian and relief aid in coordination with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) and several allied nations.

This brings the total amount of transported aid to approximately 100 tons, which was delivered to the Kosofim area in Qarara, Palestine, for distribution to those in need – according to the statement.

Jordan’s humanitarian airlift aims to expedite the delivery of urgent supplies, particularly medical aid and essential healthcare equipment, to Gaza.

Since the airlift began, the Jordanian Armed Forces have deployed 86 helicopters, including nine from Italy.

Additionally, 125 Jordanian airdrops have been conducted, alongside 266 airdrops from allied nations.

Furthermore, 53 aircraft have landed at Egypt’s Al-Arish Airport, while 1,067 trucks have entered Gaza since the ceasefire agreement was signed.
