Women's national team to play in Dubai tournament
The Jordan Football Association (JFA) has announced that the Jordan women's national football team will take part in the Dubai Friendly Tournament, set to be held from the 17th to the 26th of this month in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
This tournament is part of the team’s preparation for the Asian qualifiers in June.
Jordan will compete alongside Russia, India, Uzbekistan, South Korea, and Thailand, opening its campaign against India, followed by matches against Uzbekistan and Russia.
Head coach Maher Abu Hantash highlighted the tournament's importance in the team's preparations.
"We aim to improve the players' technical and physical levels by facing strong international opponents with high global rankings," he said.
The team continues daily training sessions with all local players, focusing on building cohesion ahead of the official competition.
