Civil Defense rescues toddler after hand caught in meat grinder

02-02-2025 18:08|The Public Security Directorate (PSD) reported that emergency responders provided medical assistance to a two-year-old child whose hand got stuck in a meat grinder.
Working alongside staff at Ma'an Government Hospital, they successfully freed the child’s hand.
According to a PSD statement, Civil Defense teams in Ma’an received a report about the incident and*immediately responded, transporting the child to the hospital.
With the joint efforts of hospital staff and Civil Defense personnel, the child’s hand was freed. Medical examinations confirmed multiple injuries, and the child was admitted for further treatment.
