Syrian president Ahmed Al-Sharaa emphasizes importance of Syrian unity

Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa announced his plan to form a transitional government that will represent all Syrians, underscoring his commitment to achieving civil peace and rebuilding state institutions based on justice and efficiency.

In the coming days, he will unveil a preparatory committee for a national dialogue conference to establish new foundations for Syria’s future, following extensive consultations with legal experts prior to taking on this responsibility.

Sharaa emphasized that the liberation of Syria resulted from the dedication of its people both within and outside the country. He indicated that the next phase will include the issuance of a constitutional declaration to serve as the legal framework for the transition.

He invited all Syrians to engage in the nation-building process, assuring that the new government will be inclusive, representing all segments of society, including women and youth, to foster Syrian unity and state revival.
