Temperatures to rise above average Thursday, with cooler weather ahead

Temperatures on Thursday are expected to be 4-5°C above seasonal averages, with sunny and relatively cold conditions over the highlands, while the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will experience mildly warm weather. Winds will be moderate from the southeast.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), temperatures will dip slightly on Friday, bringing cooler conditions across most regions.

The Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will remain moderate in temperature, with low-altitude clouds appearing.

By the evening, light rain showers may fall over parts of northern and central Jordan. Winds will shift to a moderate northwesterly breeze, occasionally becoming active.

Saturday’s weather will remain similar, with relatively cool conditions in most areas and mild temperatures in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Some low clouds are expected, with moderate northeasterly winds.
