Teacher stabbed by school student’s parent in Amman

The Public Security Directorate reported that a teacher was stabbed by a student’s parent at a school in the area of Marka in northeastern Amman on Wednesday morning.

The teacher was taken to the hospital and is currently receiving treatment, according to authorities.

Authorities have identified the father, and are actively searching for him at the moment.

Eyewitnesses told Roya that the teacher suffered bleeding and physical injuries as a result of the attack, in addition to significant damage to his vehicle.

Medical sources said the teacher was transported to Prince Faisal Hospital in Russeifa, where he underwent surgery to control the bleeding. His condition is reported as stable.
