Massive factory fire breaks out in Mafraq

Civil defense teams successfully contained a massive fire that broke out at a factory in Mafraq on Wednesday morning.

The fire, which spread across 3,000 square meters, was brought under after the swift response of civil defense teams, preventing it from reaching nearby areas – per Roya’s correspondent.

No injuries were reported, with damages limited to material losses despite the heavy smoke that filled the sky.

Mafraq Governor Firas Abu Al-Ghanem praised the rapid response of civil defense teams and confirmed that the situation is under control. Investigation teams have begun working to determine the cause of the fire.
