Israeli Occupation airstrike targets southern Lebanon
A correspondent from Roya reported that an Israeli Occupation airstrike targeted the area around a restaurant on the road connecting Nabatiyeh to Nabatiyeh El Faouqa.
The reporter clarified that emergency teams immediately headed to the targeted location to provide first aid to the injured and assess the damage caused by the attack.
The Public Health Emergency Operations Center (PHEOC), affiliated with the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, announced in a statement this evening that the airstrike launched by the Israeli Occupation in the Nabatiyeh area resulted, according to initial reports, in the injury of seven people.
The ministry confirmed that emergency teams responded promptly and transported the injured to hospitals for treatment, noting that efforts are ongoing to assess the situation and monitor any field developments.
The ministry urged citizens to exercise caution and avoid targeted areas to ensure their safety while emphasizing the preparedness of health centers and hospitals in the region to handle emergencies.
