'Israeli' ministers back Trump’s proposal to relocate Gaza residents
Resigned 'Israeli' National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir welcomed US President Donald Trump’s suggestion to relocate Palestinians from Gaza to neighboring countries.
In a post on X, Ben-Gvir stated, “One of our demands to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is to encourage voluntary migration,” adding that Trump’s proposal is an opportunity the 'Israeli' government should seize.
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich also expressed support, pledging to coordinate with Netanyahu and the cabinet to implement the plan, which aims to relocate large numbers of Gaza residents.
Hebrew media reported that Trump’s comments are part of a broader plan rather than a mere slip of the tongue.
