'Israeli' army fired shells and machine guns at civilians crossing on foot into the southern Lebanese towns of Hula and Mais al-Jabal.

Five Lebanese civilians were injured in the towns of Bourj al-Moulouk, Kfar Kila, and Hula as a result of the gunfire.

'Israeli' army issued a statement prohibiting Lebanese civilians from returning to dozens of villages in southern Lebanon. The statement warned residents against traveling south toward the villages and surrounding areas “until further notice.”

The army also released a list of villages residents are barred from returning to, including Hula, Kfar Kila, Mais al-Jabal, and dozens more.

In response, residents of several southern Lebanese towns, including Bint Jbeil, Ayta ash-Shaab, and Kfar Kila, announced plans to return to their homes despite the restrictions.

Gatherings are planned for Sunday morning, with residents organizing convoys to their respective villages.

Southern Lebanese residents accused the 'Israeli' army of violating the ceasefire agreement, adding that it used the truce to expand its territorial control.
