In rare footage from the battlefield in Gaza, the late Hamas leader, Yahya Sinwar, was seen walking among fighters, lifting their spirits.
The report, published by Al Jazeera, showed Sinwar holding a cane as he walked alongside fighters. He addressed Israeli Occupation with the message, "The door to freedom is knocked by every bloodied hand."
The footage also captured Sinwar alongside his comrade, the martyred Mahmoud Hamdan, leader of the Qassam Brigades in Rafah, as they discussed the developments in the ongoing battle. Sinwar was wearing the same clothes and gear he had on before his assassination.
The scenes also revealed moments from the field preparations leading up to Operation Aqsa Typhoon, highlighting Sinwar’s leadership role in managing the resistance’s military efforts.
Additionally, other leaders appeared, including Muhammad Deif, the overall commander of the Al-Qassam Brigades, and Izz al-Din al-Haddad, a member of the General Military Council of Al-Qassam, who stated, “Our demands are to stop the aggression, withdraw from all of Gaza, release our prisoners, lift the siege, and rebuild.”
Al-Haddad emphasized that the 'Israeli' leadership, bolstered by America and the West, would eventually have to comply with their just demands by the end of negotiations.
Muhammad Deif, while preparing for the October 7th attack, said, "We can change the course of history and lead the way right now."
The footage also documented the elite Al-Qassam forces’ attack on the 'Israeli' "Namer" troop carrier.
The scenes revealed the planning behind Operation Aqsa Typhoon and the storming of settlements, including the infiltration of 'Israeli' intelligence units, as disclosed by Al-Qassam.

Operation Aqsa Typhoon
On October 7, 2023, Al-Qassam Brigades launched a large-scale attack targeting bases, outposts, and settlements in the Gaza Strip perimeter, killing hundreds of 'Israeli' soldiers and officers, and capturing at least 240 'Israelis'. Over 100 were released during a temporary humanitarian ceasefire in November, while dozens of captives were killed in the ongoing aggression over the course of 15 months.
Official figures reported that 841 'Israeli' soldiers were killed, and 5,656 were injured, though Palestinian and 'Israeli' reports suggest the actual toll may be higher.
Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, announced earlier this month that an agreement to cease hostilities in Gaza had been reached. The first phase will last for 42 days and includes the release of 1,977 Palestinian prisoners, 290 of whom are serving life sentences, in exchange for 33 'Israeli' captives.
