'Israel' refuses to withdraw from southern Lebanon
'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office announced that Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) will not withdraw from southern Lebanon, a move that blatantly violates the ceasefire agreement.
Earlier, Hebrew media reported that Israeli Occupation's Security Cabinet decided to maintain its current military presence in southern Lebanon. Officials emphasized that the IOF will remain in the area to respond to any potential security developments.
Channel 14 reported on Friday that Tel Aviv justified its decision by claiming the Lebanese army has not adhered to required security agreements. As a result, 'Israel' opted to keep its forces stationed in the area to bolster its northern front.
Security sources cited by the channel stated that the 'Israeli' military remains on high alert and is prepared to respond "harshly and immediately" to any provocations from Hezbollah amid ongoing border tensions.
