National exports to EU reach JD 386 million
Jordanian national exports to European Union (EU) countries experienced slight growth by the end of November 2024.
The exports reached a value of JD 386 million, compared to JD 383 million during the same period in 2023, reflecting an increase of 0.8 percent.
In contrast, the value of Jordan's imports from EU countries declined by 2.3 percent, totaling JD 2.611 billion, down from JD 2.673 billion in 2023. As a result, the trade deficit with EU countries reached approximately JD 2.225 billion, compared to JD 2.290 billion in 2023.
Regarding the volume of trade exchanges between Jordan and EU countries, it amounted to JD 2.997 billion by the end of November 2024, compared to JD 3.056 billion during the same period in 2023.
The Netherlands topped the list of European countries receiving Jordanian exports, with a value of JD 80 million, marking a 9.6 percent increase from the previous year.
Meanwhile, France was the leading European country exporting to Jordan, with imports amounting to about JD 250 million, reflecting a decrease of 3.5 percent compared to 2023.
