Prime Minister directs review of Audit Bureau’s 2023 report
Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan instructed the team reviewing the Audit Bureau's 2023 report to address all violations cited, ensuring compliance with governing laws and preventing future breaches. He emphasized immediate corrective actions and transparency by announcing necessary measures through media.
During the handover of the report by Audit Bureau President Dr. Radi Al-Hamadin, Dr. Hassan stressed the government’s firm approach in addressing violations and ensuring accountability. He also underscored the importance of supporting the Audit Bureau’s independence and role in overseeing public finances and performance.
