VIDEO: Woman arrested after mid-air altercation on flight

A woman was arrested after a heated altercation on a flight from Durban to Cape Town. The incident began when the passenger clashed with a flight attendant after being denied more alcohol.

A video shared on TikTok shows the woman arguing with the stewardess, throwing a drink at her, and attempting to resist being restrained. Tensions escalated when a fellow passenger tried to assist the crew in restraining the woman. The situation finally calmed when two male passengers intervened, and the woman was restrained.

The passenger, who denied being intoxicated, claimed the altercation started when the crew couldn’t provide her preferred drink. She was arrested upon arrival in Cape Town and charged with disruptive behavior. The South African Civil Aviation Authority is conducting further investigations.
