Parliament condemns Israeli Occupation's burning of Kamal Adwan Hospital

Ahmad Al-Safadi, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, condemned the burning of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the Gaza Strip by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), labeling it as an additional war crime in the ongoing series of offenses against the Palestinian people.

In a statement, Safadi emphasized that this incident is part of a long list of violations that include killing, destruction, displacement, and land confiscation. He described the act as a blatant violation of international law and a further escalation of the persecution faced by the Palestinian people.

On behalf of the House of Representatives, Safadi urged Arab and Islamic parliaments to take immediate action by addressing international parliaments to pressure their governments into implementing decisive measures against the occupation.

He called for coordinated efforts directed at international bodies, particularly the UN Security Council, to hold the leaders of the occupation accountable for what he referred to as heinous crimes against humanity.

Safadi underscored that the occupation bears responsibility for the safety of civilians and medical staff at the hospital. He reiterated the necessity of holding Israeli Occupation war criminals accountable for their actions.

He concluded by stating that the international community must fulfill its moral and legal obligations to halt these horrific crimes, especially in light of the ongoing war on Gaza and the severe violations occurring in the region.
