New Syrian authorities rename Tishreen, Ba'ath universities

25-12-2024 22:03|The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that caretaker Prime Minister Engineer Mohammad Al-Bashir has issued a decision to rename Tishreen University in Latakia as "Latakia University."
Al-Bashir also announced the renaming of Al-Baath University in Homs to "Homs University," according to the agency.
The renaming by the new Syrian administration aims to eliminate symbols associated with the former regime.
