Army neutralizes drug-laden drone in southern Jordan

The Jordanian Southern Command intercepted an early morning attempt on Tuesday to smuggle a significant quantity of narcotics using a drone along its western border.

A source from the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army (JAF) stated, “Border Guard Forces, in coordination with military security and the Anti-Narcotics Department, successfully foiled a smuggling operation involving a drone attempting to cross the border illegally. The drone was neutralized within Jordanian territory following the application of engagement rules, and the seized contraband was handed over to the relevant authorities.”
