Israeli Occupation intercepts drone believed to be fired from Yemen
The "Israeli" Home Front Command announced that sirens were activated in the Gaza envelope and the western Negev in the southern occupied territory due to concerns about a potential drone infiltration.
The Israeli Broadcasting Authority (IBA) confirmed that a drone infiltrated the Gaza envelope and was intercepted.
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) reported that it successfully intercepted the drone, which had entered from the east into the southern region.
The IOF radio indicated that the intercepted drone was likely launched from Yemen.
The military also mentioned that an investigation is underway regarding a missile that was fired from Yemen, but provided no further details.
Additionally, the IOF acknowledged vulnerabilities in its air defense system, stating, "Our air defense is not completely secure," and stressed the importance of residents following the Home Front Command's instructions to ensure their safety.
