'Israel' investigates missile defense failure after Yemeni rocket hits Tel Aviv

'Israeli' military released the initial findings of its investigation into the Yemeni missile strike on 'Israeli' territory which left 30 people injured.

'Israeli' Army Radio, the preliminary investigation revealed that initially, an interception missile was launched by Israeli Occupation Forces but failed to intercept the Yemeni ballistic missile outside the borders.

Iron Dome system was then activated, but its missiles also failed to intercept the incoming missile.

Maariv stated that Yemen's Houthis have launched over 200 missiles and more than 170 explosive drones targeting 'Israel' since the beginning of the aggression.

Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree confirmed that a hypersonic ballistic missile, named "Palestine 2," struck a military site in occupied Jaffa.

Saree emphasized that the attack was a direct response to 'Israeli' assaults on Gaza and its ongoing military operations. He added that Israeli Occupation’s air defense systems failed to intercept the missile.
