VIDEO: Houthis launch missile as 'Israeli' strikes target Sana’a
Sirens echoed in over 70 settlements and towns in the Tel Aviv metropolitan area after a ballistic missile was reportedly launched from Yemen toward the city, according to Roya News' correspondent.
The sirens were triggered to alert residents of a potential threat, leading to heightened security measures in the region. Debris from the missile struck a school in Ramat Gan, causing significant damage. Hebrew media later reported that the collapse of the school’s main building was due to an 'Israeli' interceptor missile.
In related developments, Houthi-affiliated media said that aggressive airstrikes targeted key infrastructure in Yemen, including central power stations in the cities of Hodeidah and Sana’a.
'Israeli' military confirmed the strikes, stating that its air force attacked Houthi targets in Yemen, including ports and energy infrastructure. 'Israeli' Defense Minister Yoav Gallant approved the operation, emphasizing, "We will not tolerate missile launches toward Israel or threats to maritime routes."
The incident marks a significant escalation in regional tensions, further complicating ongoing conflict dynamics.
