Publication ban issued on details of elderly home fire

The State Security Prosecutor decided to prohibit the publication of any information related to the fire incident at the White Beds Society for the Elderly, effective today, Sunday.

The decision is based on the provisions of Article 39 of the Press and Publications Law and Article 225 of the Penal Code.

Bashir Al-Momani, Director General of the Media Commission, issued a directive to implement the judicial decision and ensure strict compliance with the ban on publishing any information related to the fire incident, as well as prohibiting the circulation of any photos or videos related to the case. This ban includes social media platforms under the decision's terms.
