Prime Minister: Government committed to empowering private sector

Prime Minister Jafar Hassan underscored the critical importance of implementing Jordan's Economic Modernization Vision (EMV), calling it a national necessity despite its challenges.

Speaking at a Cabinet session on Saturday, Hassan emphasized that the success of this vision relies on empowering the private sector. He stressed the government’s role in facilitating growth and employment within the boundaries of the law.

Hassan pledged to address legal obstacles hindering private sector progress and urged ministers to delve deeply into their ministries' operations, prioritize employee affairs, and enforce accountability.

"We will not tolerate any employee undermining the nation or our efforts to realize the Economic Modernization Vision," he asserted.

Hassan called on all public sector employees to actively contribute to this vision, highlighting its cross-governmental nature and its importance in shaping Jordan's future.
