VIDEO: Syrian Democratic Forces open fire on protesters in Raqqa

Protests in Raqqa, northern Syria, turned deadly on Thursday evening when Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) opened fire on demonstrators.

At least six people were killed and several others injured in the shooting.

The incident occurred amid rising tensions in Raqqa since Sunday, following the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime.

The clashes escalated as protests spread to nearby villages and towns, including Karama, Hamrat, and Jedida, as well as the entire eastern Raqqa region.
