VIDEO - Arsonist sets two cars ablaze in Amman

Two unidentified individuals set fire to two cars in the Southern Marka area of Amman early Tuesday.

A resident, speaking to Roya, recounted waking up to what he described as "terrifying" sounds and the strong smell of smoke from the fire that engulfed the vehicles, resulting in several injuries, including to an infant.

The man said he immediately went to investigate and discovered that two cars—one belonging to him and the other to his son—had been deliberately set ablaze by two masked individuals, as cries of alarm echoed through the neighborhood.

Surveillance footage revealed the shocking details of the incident, showing one of the perpetrators igniting both vehicles simultaneously. The fire led to an explosion, intensifying the panic among local residents.

The resident denied having any disputes with the two suspects, either personally or involving his son, emphasizing the importance of law enforcement and justice in addressing the situation.

He filed a report with a nearby police station, leading to the eventual apprehension of the suspects after their identities were uncovered.
