Palestinian presidency expresses solidarity with Syrian people

The Palestinian Presidency affirmed the solidarity of the State of Palestine and its people with the Syrian people.

In a statement following the downfall of Bashar Al-Assad's regime, the Palestinian Presidency emphasized respect for their will and political choices in a way that ensures their security, stability, and preservation of national achievements.

The Presidency reiterated the importance of maintaining Syria's unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity and expressed its wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the brotherly Syrian people.

It also called on all political parties to prioritize the interests of the Syrian people and work towards restoring Syria’s pivotal role in the region and the world, in a manner that serves common interests and bolsters the just Palestinian cause on its path toward freedom and independence.
