Jordan Foreign Ministry reaffirms support for Syria's stability and reconstruction

Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ayman Safadi, stated today, Sunday, that Jordan is closely monitoring developments in the Syrian Arab Republic with great concern for its security, unity, sovereignty, and the safety of its people.

Safadi emphasized Jordan’s commitment to providing full support to the Syrian people in their efforts to rebuild their country, institutions, and political system, ensuring Syria's security, sovereignty, freedom, and a dignified life for all its citizens.

He also reiterated Jordan’s support for any political process initiated by the Syrian people to establish a political system that meets their aspirations, preserves their rights, and leads Syria toward a secure and prosperous future.

Safadi stressed the importance of preventing Syria from descending into chaos and protecting its national institutions.

He concluded by confirming that Jordan is ready to provide any assistance needed by the Syrian people.
