Jordan to experience spring-like weather for coming days
Jordan is currently experiencing pleasant, sunny weather during the day, with no low-pressure systems or rainfall, despite the official start of winter according to meteorological calendars.
The current and forecasted weather over the next few days is more akin to spring, with overall stability prevailing across the country – said the forecast by ArabiaWeather.
High-Pressure system
Jordan and regions of the Eastern Mediterranean are affected by a strong high-pressure system that extends across all atmospheric layers, bringing a stable weather pattern.
This high-pressure system is associated with a warm, stable air mass, leading to temperatures higher than the usual averages for this time of year by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius.
The weather over the coming days is expected to remain pleasant and sunny during the day, with high clouds appearing in some areas, while nights will remain cool.
Maximum temperatures are expected to be around 20°C in most cities, including eastern areas of Amman, with moderate winds.
Warmer weather in Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba
In the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba regions, temperatures are expected to rise above the mid-20s over the next few days, particularly on Tuesday and Wednesday. This will bring warmer-than-usual conditions resembling spring, with continued stability.
Absence of low-pressure systems
Weather maps indicate that low-pressure systems will remain distant from the Kingdom in the coming period, due to winter weather patterns over Europe and North Africa, keeping the Eastern Mediterranean region warm and stable.
