Jordan urges citizens to leave Syria
In light of the recent developments in Syria, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has urged Jordanian citizens residing or present in Syria to leave the country as soon as possible for their safety.
Official spokesperson, Ambassador Dr. Sufian Al-Qudah, announced the formation of a national crisis cell to assist with the evacuation of Jordanian citizens from Syria and ensure their safe return to Jordan as quickly as possible.

The ministry's statement said it is closely monitoring the situation through its Consular Affairs Department and the Jordanian Embassy in Damascus, confirming that all Jordanian nationals in Syria are currently safe.
