Court sets date for Netanyahu’s testimony in trial
The Jerusalem District Court has set the date for “Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s testimony in his corruption case.
It is set for next Tuesday, December 10, at 9 AM, at the Tel Aviv District Court Building.
Netanyahu’s defense team filed multiple requests to delay the testimony, and he will finally give his testimony after the judge cited that the security situation in the chamber is sufficient for the prime minister to testify.
The testimony is expected to last at least several weeks.

The case started in 2020, on allegations of corruption involving bribery, fraud, and breach of trust.
It focuses on three main cases often referred to as Case 1000, Case 2000, and Case 4000:
Case 1000: Netanyahu is accused of receiving luxury gifts, such as cigars and champagne, from wealthy benefactors in exchange for political favors.
Case 2000: This involves allegations of an illicit deal with a major “Israeli” newspaper publisher to ensure favorable coverage in return for limiting competition.
Case 4000: This case centers around claims that Netanyahu provided regulatory benefits to a telecommunications company in exchange for favorable news coverage on its associated media outlet
Netanyahu denies all accusations, describing the trial as a politically motivated "witch hunt."
