Meteorologists reveal December weather outlook for Jordan

According to the latest weather maps, cold and wet air masses are moving away from the region as December 2024 begins. Stable autumnal weather is expected to persist across most areas during this period.

Meteorologists at "ArabiaWeather" explained that current atmospheric patterns in the Northern Hemisphere are creating conditions that push cold and wet air masses away from the region. This pattern is expected to continue through the first week of December.

This shift is attributed to the displacement of a high-pressure system from central Europe to western Europe and the central Atlantic. This positioning allows cold, wet air masses to deepen over central and western Europe and northern Africa, while the region experiences warmer-than-average, drier air masses.

Weather outlook for coming days

Specialists predict that stable weather will dominate the Kingdom from Monday through the end of the week. This is due to the influence of stable, autumnal air masses over the eastern Mediterranean, including Jordan.

Temperatures are expected to rise slightly, becoming marginally higher than their seasonal averages. The weather will be relatively cool in the highlands and mild in other areas during the day, while remaining cold during the night and early morning hours.
